DESCRIPTION
Step back in time while staying at the enchanting Torre Trasita on Positano’s glittering coast. This ancient Saracen stone tower is a unique property that dates back to the 16th century. It’s been converted into a lovely residence and is a fascinating reminder of the coast’s rich history. Positioned between Positano’s two main beaches, this property simultaneously offers the convenience of small town life as well as a bit of privacy and solitude.
The tower covers three levels and is air-conditioned throughout. Enter the property through its impressive wooden door to find an open, airy living room with a piano, dining area, sofa, and French doors that open out to the terrace with sweeping sea views. The kitchen is just off the living room and has all the necessary conveniences such as an oven, refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. Also on this entry level are a bedroom with double (or two twins) bed, en-suite bathroom, TV and a minibar.
A stone staircase from the living room leads up past a book collection to the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom. There is access to the rooftop terrace where an incredible vista of the town and sea awaits. The terrace is equipped with a partially shaded dining area as well as sun beds perfect for soaking up the Mediterranean sun or spending a magical evening under the stars.
The lower level houses the third bedroom, which can serve as a mini-apartment. There is an en-suite bathroom, a small sitting area and a full-service kitchen. Doors from the kitchen open out to the cozy terrace set with a table and chairs.

LOCATION
Torre Trasita enjoys a privileged position on the edge of the Positano bay. The terrain is rustic and the property is reached by walking a short distance up a staircase and pathway from Positano’s main beach, La Spiaggia Grande.
