DESCRIPTION
Perched on the hillside of Positano, Casa Antica resides within a magnificent 18th-century villa that has been partially restored. The modest property entrance belies the hidden treasures of this delightful two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation home.
During the restoration process, the owner discovered original majolica and hand-painted frescoes dating back to the 18th-century. A careful cleaning by a trained artist has brought forth these beautiful elements, and along with the wood beam ceiling, unique tiling throughout, and bright color palette, and marble details, the residence maintains its Baroque style.
Casa Antica opens from the cozy living room into a spacious dining and modern kitchen area with vaulted wood-beam ceilings. Directly off the kitchen is a full bathroom featuring a marble bathtub. A short set of stairs leads up to the small laundry area. The dining area is perfect for gathering around the table and cooking up a special meal together.
The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the adjoining double bedroom have been beautifully and meticulously decorated with bright linens and elegant chandeliers. The double bedroom opens up onto the terrace, which is perfect for waking up to the warm sunrise and enjoying morning coffee and pastries. Guests can lounge or lunch on the terrace and take in the incredible sea views. There is a table, sun chairs, and an outdoor kitchenette perfect for preparing an afternoon meal or an evening aperitivo.

LOCATION
Casa Antica is located just off the main coastal road. From the palazzo’s entrance to the front door are about 60 shallow steps. The local Positano bus stop is within a few minutes walk. The coastal bus stop (SITA), which operates between Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and beyond, is located within a 10 minute walk. Positano town center and beach area can be reached within a 15-20 minute walk downhill. Within a 5 minute walk is a mini-market for grocery shopping convenience.
