DESCRIPTION
This enchanting home is found on the top floor of the "Pension 61", an historic place of passage for travelers and artists of the nineteenth century. Located in a position where one can enjoy the most beautiful views in Positano, it directly overlooks La Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo Bay. From the magnificent terrace of the house, as from a ship’s bow, you can enjoy an unrivaled view of the sunrise. And when the sun goes down, the Positano landscape is bathed in heavenly shades of pink and lilac.
The house consists of four bedrooms with private bathrooms, and retains the same layout of the original home, which the owners wanted to keep intact. All face the same stunning coastal view, including the kitchen and the guest bathroom. Even the lounge, with its elegant Moorish window leading to the terrace provides delightful views of the Mediterranean sea bathing the stunning Amalfi Coast and Li Galli Islands.
The home’s carefully curated design was born from the owners’ passion for travel, and the love of their adopted town of Positano and native city of Napoli. For those interested, the home is full of references to the concept of the "egg" and the Homeric legend of the sirens.

LOCATION
Casa dell’Uovo is located in the heart of Positano with easy access to the town’s street level. Within steps are restaurants, a mini-market, and boutiques. The town center and both beaches of Positano can be reached within a leisurely 5 to 10 minute walk downhill.
